I've been intending to e-mail you for what seems like ages now! Please forgive this very late but nonetheless heartfelt thank you.

My sister received the shoes (completely out of the blue) and was astounded by the transformation. As anticipated, she's absolutely thrilled to bits and can hardly believe what you have done. She really thought those shoes were unwearable but now have taken their rightful place in the "posh shoes for special occasions" part of her collection. Of course, she knows to steer clear of pebbly beaches for after-wedding photos!

Fantastic service from Barbaran after being previously ripped off by a competitor. Barbaran were professional, honest and their service was of a high standard. I had previously purchased new items, shoes and bag and sent them for dying to 'shoe dying direct' not only were the items returned in a poor state they had been damaged by the company who went on to be dismissive, evasive and completely unconcerned about the distress and cost that I had been subject to. I received a standard letter in reply and the company proprietor was 'unavailable to take my call'. If companies in the service industry could be rated by their desire to provide a service 'shoe dying direct' did not even get off the starting blocks. Well done Barbaran and thanks for saving the day!

Dear Barbaran

i cannot thank you enough for giving me 5 minutes of your time this morning, i also cannot remember a time when someone, who i was calling to give my business to, truly put the customer first....

as i approach my first anniversary next week, i realised that having discarded, passed on or placed in my memory box all the tangible elements of my wedding, i was left with the 'shoes'. Every part of the planning of my wedding, for which i am very grateful, went smoothly..........except buying my shoes. Hours upon hours spent in and around London trying every white/ivory shoe i could lay my hands and now almost a year later i knew that i must get around to dealing with them. Enter you Barbaran, the emotions you stirred by telling me to keep the shoes with all the marks, stains and scuffs and put them in my memory box actually made me cry! By telling me to write down my memories with a glass of champagne so that i can enjoy those memories forever which will give me more pleasure than a few wears of (possibly not great looking) black shoes, is priceless.

Barbaran you are the best!

I found THE perfect ankle boots in LK Bennett but they were the wrong colour. I wanted brown leather not black leather but LK Bennett don't make them in brown.

So I took a huge risk, bought them and sent them to Barbaran to be dyed dark brown.

I am absolutely delighted with result - absolutely spot on perfect! Thank you.

So now you know - if you find the perfect style shoe but in the wrong colour, go to Barbaran to get them dyed. All things are possible.

You recently dyed my pale pink MIU MIU handbag black and I want to say it looks amazing. The bag cost a small fortune (£700!) and was getting dirtier each and every time it was used hence the decision to dye it. It looks exactly like the black version of my bag which is for sale in Selfridges. I wanted to write to say thank you once more, you did an incredible job and I’m absolutely thrilled. What a personal and caring service!

Barbaran was honest enough to say that the first pair of shoes I sent her to wear for my daughter's wedding would not dye well.

She must have thought me mad when I sent her a second pair in the wrong colour. But, undaunted, she set about dyeing them to just the right shade (not easy as the shoes were bronze and the dress a mixture of gold and black).

I will certainly use Barbaran again and would thoroughly recommend her to anyone.
